Gold Coast Recovery Center – The Meeting Place – is moving. On November 1, 2010 The Meeting Place will be moving to East Ventura. The new address is 4475 Dupont Court, Suite 8. All Meetings and Activities will take place at the new facility beginning Monday, November 1st. As most of you know, this move is necessary because the facility is not taking in enough revenue to sustain the high rent at the current location. Crucial GCRC Meeting Scheduled!
The GCRC Board has scheduled an important business meeting to discuss the future of the the Meeting Place.
The meeting will be at 7pm Thursday, January 21, 2010.
Everybody interested in the facility remaining open should attend!
Refreshments will be provided.

We Need Your Help
No matter how hard society tries, addiction and its related community problems persist. The only reliable way to fight the war on addiction is by helping the addict or alcoholic to recover. When an addict gets clean or an alcoholic gets sober, everybody wins. The Meeting Place provides an environment for addicted people to seek recovery and to fellowship with other recovering people. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing meeting space and a gathering place for recovering people to share their experience, strength and hope. But we can’t do this alone. We need your donations. Please make a tax deducible donation to help us help addicted people and the community.

Just to keep you updated, the board is continuing to search for a new Meeting Place facility. We have looked at several buildings are in negotiation with a couple of property management firms. We’ll keep you posted.

Gold Coast Recovery Center, Inc. and The Meeting Place provide a valuable service to Ventura County. We provide affordable meeting space for the organizations–12 Step fellowships–that have proven themselves the most successful in the treatment of substance abuse. And, we offer a sanctuary–an alternative to the streets and bars–for recovering people. We are a non-profit organization and are in constant need of financial assistance to keep our doors open. We need your help. No amount is too small. Anything you can do is greatly appreciated.
