Community Sponsorship Plans
We have seen literally hundreds of addicted people come to The Meeting Place and find help. And, of those that don’t find recovery the first or second time they come to our facility, many eventually return and begin their journey to a new life. The Meeting Place is like a beacon of hope in downtown Ventura. It stands ready to receive and assist all who want to find freedom from substance abuse. Many of those substance abusers who are still out there living destructive lives and disrupting the community know about The Meeting Place. And, they know that we are here waiting to help them when they’ve had enough. You can help us help them.
Initially, The Meeting Place was established and run by one member of the Ventura recovery community. Recognizing the facility’s value to the recovering community and West Ventura County at large, several recovering people with many years of abstinence from substance use and recovery from the disease addiction have established Gold Coast Recovery Center, Inc., a non-profit corporation, to promote and develop the facility. The Meeting Place is a refuge for newly-recovering and long-time recovering people in our community
The GCRC Board believes that The Meeting Place performs a valuable and much-needed service to not only the recovery community, but to the local community at large. When an addict stops using and begins the process of becoming a productive member of society, everybody wins. Armed with this philosophy, GCRC is asking the community, especially the business community, for assistance in maintaining and developing this resource.
The Gold Coast Recovery Center provides affordable meeting facilities for recovery-oriented programs. The facility itself and GCRC are not affiliated with any particular recovery group. The goal of the corporation and the The Meeting Place is to assist these organizations and fellowships in facilitating and promoting their efforts to provide recovery solutions.
Community Sponsorship Plans
We have developed the following plans for community businesses and individuals who want help us with tax-deductible donations.
Bronze = 100 per month = small plaque in coffee bar area specified for bronze sponsors and listing on website on “Sponsors” page of website.
- Silver = $200 per month = larger plaque in coffee bar area specified for silver sponsors and listing on website on “Sponsors” page.
- Gold = $350 per month = medium-sized laminated sign in coffee bar area specified for Gold sponsors , listing on website on “Sponsors” page and small rotating banner on Website.
- Platinum = $500 per month = Large laminated sign in coffee bar in strategic areas throughout facility , listing on website on “Sponsors” page and large rotating banner on Website.
The Meeting place is centrally located in downtown Ventura, at 291 Santa Cruz St.
